Stoichiometry is using the amounts of chemicals in one chemical
reaction to find the amounts of chemicals in another chemical reaction.

To find this follow these simple steps
1.Write a complete and balanced chemical equation2. Draw a column after each chemical.
3. Write the amount given in the correct column.
4. Convert the amount given into moles.
5.

In each of the other columns write moles of given (x) as a fraction.

The numerator of the fraction is the coefficient of the column.

The denominator of the fraction is the coefficient of the given column.

Do math and label as moles.

6. Convert all moles into grams.
7. Verify the law of conservation of mass

Law of Conservation of Mass- States that mass can neither be created or destroyed during any ordinary chemical reaction.

NOTE: This means the total mass of the reactants and the total mass of the products must be equal. (The last significant digit can vary by 2)
